World Class Commissioning Competencies

This document describes how that shared infrastructure combines to support the Greater Manchester PCTs deliver against each of the World Class Commissioning competencies.

The GM Public Health network is the third key pillar – we are clear in our responsibility to provide the voice of the NHS in the city region, The Association of Greater Manchester PCTs is the earliest and the most realised formal PCT partnership in the country.

We have long realised the importance of our collective endeavour and sought to secure the achievement of our ambitions through investment in a shared infrastructure. Our ‘do once’ or ‘buy once’ and share approach provides dedicated support to PCT leadership to deliver against our common system reform agenda.
